Early Career Scientist Membership
Early Career refers to non-students who have received their highest degree within the last ten years.
Student Membership
Student Membership refers to all students enrolled in either undergraduate or graduate programs.
Scientists from Developing Nations
In an effort to increase membership and participation of aquatic scientists from developing nations, ASLO offers reduced membership and meeting registration fees for scientists and students from 152 developing nations as defined by the International Statistical Institute.
Emeritus Membership
Emeritus membership is available to all individuals who are sixty-five (65) years of age or older and who have been members of ASLO for at least twenty (20) years. As ASLO highly values the sustained contributions of its emeritus members, and as these individuals are valued as mentors of younger scientists, for meetings where ASLO is the lead organization, all emeritus members who are retired shall have the option of choosing an ASLO registration fee that is 50% of the regular fee.
