Memberships run for the calendar year and expire on December 31. Renewal notices typically are emailed in November, and a renewal advisory notice will be displayed in your Member Profile while renewals are open.

Early Career Scientist Membership
Early Career refers to non-students who have received their highest degree within the last 6 years.
Student Membership refers to all students enrolled in either undergraduate or graduate programs.
Scientists from Developing Nations
In an effort to increase membership and participation of aquatic scientists from developing nations, ASLO offers reduced membership and meeting registration fees for scientists and students from 152 developing nations as defined by the International Statistical Institute.
