Session Formats

All sessions are closed captioned using auto-caption options that reply on voice-recognition software and is not always accurate with scientific words and phrases.

Oral Sessions: 6-5-30

All oral sessions will be in the popular 6-5-30 format. All presenters will pre-record a 15-minute presentation and upload it prior to the meeting’s start so it is available for viewing by all attendees.

The live sessions will be one-hour in length featuring six presenters who will give a five-minute overview of their work followed by 30 minutes of discussion and Q&A.

Oral sessions will be hosted on Zoom. Sessions will also be recorded and posted to each session’s page after the live session  concludes.

Guidelines for producing your pre-recorded presentation will be available after the schedule is released.

Training for your Zoom experience will be provided closer to the conference start.

Posters Sessions

All posters will be uploaded to the meeting site and viewable for all attendees. Much like in the oral sessions, poster presenters will be organized into sessions of 8-12 presenters who will give a live two-minute overview of their work followed by discussion and Q&A.

Poster sessionswill be hosted on Zoom. Poster sessionswill also be recorded and posted to each session’s page after it concludes.

Guidelines for producing your poster presentation will be available after the schedule is released.

Training for your Zoom experience will be provided closer to the conference start.

Innovative Sessions, Town Halls, Workshops and Other Auxiliary Events

Organizers of innovative sessions, town halls, workshops and other auxiliary events will be hosted on Zoom and will include options for  breakout rooms and polling.. Organizers are free to schedule their event as they wish within their allotted time on the schedule.

Zoom training for all session and event organizers will  be provided closer to the conference start.
