Session Formats
Standard Oral
Standard oral presentations are twelve minutes in length with a three-minute moderated Q&A period. Most standard oral sessions are 90 minutes in length and are comprised of six oral presentations. Sessions coded with "ORAL" accept oral abstracts.
Lightning Talk (with Poster)
A lightning talk comprises a five-minute oral presentation coupled with a poster presentation. Each five-minute talk should be accompanied by 5-8 slides and should direct the audience to the accompanying poster for more information. Lightning talk posters will be presented at the poster session along with other posters from that session. Sessions coded with "LIGHT" accept lightning talk abstracts.
Poster
Posters sessions will be held in two, two-hour sessions. Posters will be presented depending on the poster session to which they are assigned. You will be notified of your poster session’s time and day well in advance of the meeting, and you will be expected to be available to present your poster during your designated poster session. Sessions coded with "POST" accept poster abstracts.
Amplifying Voices
Amplifying voices presentations are prerecorded talks for those earl;y career researchers that lack funds to attend and present at the in-person meeting. These prerecorded talks will be show together as a session at the meting. For requirements, detail and other information, please contact [email protected]. Sessions coded with "PRERECORDED" accept only prerecorded talks.
