The session “Banish Burnout: Move from Stress to Success” will be led by award-winning workplace wellness speaker and author Janice Litvin.

A follow-up, Aftercare Roundtable for participants to discuss implementation of strategies will be held on Thursday, 8 February 2024 at 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm EST (9:00 am – 10:0 am PST; 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm UTC).

In this lively, interactive program our facilitator Janice Litvin will show participants how to manage stress to prevent burnout. Based on the premise that you can change your reactions to stress, Janice’s methodology will teach you how to build awareness, convert negative thoughts into positive self-talk, and set healthy boundaries. You will come away with specific tools you can start using immediately. All you need is awareness, desire to change, and willingness to do the work.

Who is it for?

The workshop has been organized with early career researchers in mind, but the organizers warmly welcome anyone who wants to learn more about this topic.

More about Janice Litvin:

Janice Litvin is an award-winning workplace wellness speaker and author of Banish Burnout Toolkit. She is on a mission to help leaders and teams banish burnout in their organizations. She does this through keynotes, workshops and coaching groups. Her popular program teaches people how to change the way they react to stress from the inside out. Her book, Banish Burnout Toolkit is a workbook that takes readers through the journey of untangling their behavior patterns so they can learn to modulate their emotions and change their behavior.

What makes Janice unique is her 12 years in IT (with a BA Math from University of Texas at Austin), 20 years as a technology recruiter, study of psychology, and a lifetime of working on her own behavior to become happier and healthier. Janice is past president of National Speakers Association of Northern California, and is a member of SHRM, for whom she is a Recertification Provider. She is also a member of MPI and ProVisors.
