Student Travel Awards and Early Career Travel Grants
ASLO provides generous financial support for students and early career professionals who are members of ASLO. In addition, the ASLO board recognizes the financial hardships for members from developing countries and provides travel funds for those members as well.
All travel award recipients now have been notified.
ASLO Student Travel GrantS
ASLO student members, including student members from developing countries, are eligible for student travel grants. Applications for travel grants were due upon registration and abstract submission. This funding does not completely cover the cost of attendance, but is intended to help defray the cost of travel and/or registration for the meeting. To be eligible, applicants must be an ASLO student member, and the application must be completed at the same time as the meeting registration and abstract submission. Travel awards will be paid in US dollars only. If you have any questions, please email the Student Board Members: Ngozi Margaret Oguguah, email@example.com or Camille Gaynus, firstname.lastname@example.org.
ASLO Early Career Travel Grants
A limited number of travel grants are awarded to ASLO early career members to defray the cost of registration and/or travel to the meeting in San Juan. Early career members from developing countries also benefit from this support. ASLO early career travel award applications must have been submitted at the same time as the meeting registration and abstract submission and payment of both fees. The application requires those interested to provide information about their current funding situation and the need for funds. To be eligible, these should all be received in accordance with all meeting deadlines. Travel awards will be paid in U.S. dollars only. For more information, please send an email to Hans-Peter Grossart at email@example.com.
Please note that you must be a current ASLO Student Member, current ASLO Early Career Member, or an ASLO Developing Country Student Member to apply for travel grants.
