Accommodations

All the hotels listed are within walking distance of the Puerto Rico Convention Center. As a feature included with all of the guest rooms at the hotels listed below, ASLO has negotiated FREE INTERNET service for its meeting attendees. Please note that the room rates listed are subject to applicable taxes at the time of check-in. These hotels also contribute to the cost of the meeting and support the space at the convention center. This allows us to keep the cost of meetings as low as possible, and we ask that you use these hotels when booking your accommodations.

Be Aware of Unauthorized Housing Offers

ASLO has contracted with various hotels to secure discounted rates in San Juan.  Contracts are signed by ASLO, and these hotels also contribute toward the cost of the convention center.

Please arrange for your overnight accommodations at one of the hotels listed. Should you be contacted by a company other than ASLO informing you of additional housing options for the San Juan meeting, please be cautious. ASLO never shares or sells the information of our meeting attendees or members. These organizations do not have authorization from ASLO to make such contacts, and what they offer may not be as it seems. If you are contacted by an organization other than ASLO about housing reservations, please contact Lynda West at the ASLO business office at business@aslo.org or call 254-776-3550, Ext. 3 or 1-800-929-2756, Ext. 3.

After over one year of extensive rolling restoration as a result of Hurricane Maria, the grandeur of the Condado Plaza is ready to be experienced by guests during the first quarter of 2019.  This ocean and bay facing mainstay in Puerto Rico’s colorful and rich history places guests at the gateway of the vibrant Condado district while being moments away from Old San Juan, Paseo Caribe and the Puerto Rico Convention Center District. The Condado Plaza provides guests with beach and bay access providing a vast selection of water sports to choose from while ensuring the connection to everything that is important to participate in a successful meeting.  From the moment you enter the dynamic lobby and stare out the floor to ceiling windows to the Atlantic Ocean vista, you will be swept away as you embark on your discovery of Puerto Rico. The property offers 571 fully-appointed guest rooms and suites, beach access, state-of-the-art health club, three oceanfront pools, one with swim-up bar and a separate salt water pool. There are eight (8) eclectic restaurants and bars at this hotel, plus access to Paseo Caribe offering additional dining and retail options.

The Hilton Condado Plaza Plastics Policy:
Hilton continues to work on reducing its environmental footprint.  Current activities include removing plastic straws from all managed hotels worldwide by the end of 2018.  Additionally, plastic water bottles will not be used in conference rooms.  Biodegradable paper straws will replace those of plastic, while pitchers and drinking glasses will replace the water bottles. These replacements will eliminate waste from more than 35 million straws and 20 million plastic water bottles per year, making Hilton the first hotel chain to successfully ban both disposables worldwide. This corporate move helps reduce the amount of harmful plastic litter in the environment, especially oceans and fresh bodies of water.
