Meeting Registration

Registration for the meeting and payment of the appropriate abstract submission fee is required prior to submitting your abstract. This includes speakers who have been contacted by session organizers and “invited” to present in a scientific or education session.

There will be no virtual program.

Registration Information

Registration fees must be paid in U.S. dollars (USD) and drawn from a U.S. bank. Credit card fees will appear as a charge on your credit card statement to ASLO.

Online registration is preferred and highly recommended. Electronic registrations must include complete credit card information. Registration will be confirmed via e-mail once payment is received.

All participants and exhibitors must agree to the Code of Conduct and Waiver of Liability when registering.

In-person Registration

The full in-person registration fee includes admission to all sessions, exhibits, town hall meetings and workshops, auxiliary meetings (unless by invitation only or otherwise specified), mixers, and the online program. Optional events such as specially organized activities may not be included.

In-person registration also includes access to all prerecorded scientific presentations prior to the meeting, continuing for six months after the meeting.

Fees to attend the meeting should be paid in advance. Registrations are not considered final until a check, money order, purchase order, or charge card information is received. All registrations must include complete credit card information, including number, expiration date, CVV number, cardholder name, and complete card billing address. VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted. Organizations can be billed only if a purchase order accompanies the registration either electronically or by mail. Those registering under the developing country rates will be subject to verifying their current country of residence. This rate is only available to those participants who are currently living and working in low- or lower-middle-income economies as defined by the World Bank.

Guest Fees allow attendance at the opening & closing receptions, the fun & enrichment activities, and the field trips. However, it is the attendee's responsibility to book the excursions. Guest fees do not include access to the scientific sessions.

Deferring Your Registration Fee

Government and other agencies may defer the registration fee for budgetary circumstances.  Defer the registration fee by using the Pay Later option at checkout. Deferred registration fees must be paid by 4 May 2023. Unpaid deferments will result in the cancellation of registrations and withdrawals of presentations.

Abstract fees may not be deferred.

Substitutions and Cancellations

We understand that occasionally other responsibilities and personal obligations prevent you from attending. If you find that you will not be able to attend the meeting, we encourage you to send a substitute. Substitutions can be made at any time at no additional charge.  The conference presentations will be available during and after the dates of the meeting, so please consider this before canceling.

If you find it necessary to cancel after you have already paid, we can refund your conference fee (less a $70.00 USD processing fee) if we receive notice in writing on or before 4 May 2023. Registrants who cancel on or after 5 May 2023 will not be eligible for any part of a refund. Abstract submission fees are non-refundable. (Please note that refunds only can be issued to the credit card that was used for the initial transaction.)

The conference management office must be made aware of all substitutions or registration transfers in writing; email notification is preferred.
