Our research team at Miami University seeks a full-time (with benefits) Research Assistant/Associate to participate in research on watersheds and lakes (https://actonltreb.blog/). This project examines how long-term changes in ecosystem subsidies, driven by alterations in watershed agriculture, impact the food web and ecosystem of Acton Lake, a eutrophic reservoir in Ohio. The position is for 1 year and renewable for up to 5 years, pending satisfactory performance.

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in biology, ecology, environmental science, chemistry, or other natural science; at least 1 year of experience (3 years preferred) in aquatic ecology or related field, including field work.
