Ten years ago I attended my first international scientific conference. This year I went back to that same conference, and found I felt much more comfortable. Here I outline what has happened to get me to this point, and strategies other ECRs can use to increase their confidence at conferences.

The Consortium of Aquatic Science Societies (CASS) is deeply concerned with the proposed rule issued today by the EPA and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to replace the 2015 Clean Water Rule (Waters of the United States Rule or WOTUS).
