ASLO recognizes individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the benefit of the society and its publications, meetings, and other activities. All ASLO members are welcome to nominate another member for recognition as an ASLO Fellow or Sustaining Fellow.  Please review the criteria below to assess whether the nominee is likely to meet the criteria for Fellow or Sustaining Fellow. The nominee will receive an invitation from ASLO to apply for Fellow or Sustaining Fellow. You will not be identified to the nominee.
ASLO Fellows are recognized as having achieved excellence in their contributions to ASLO and the aquatic sciences.
ASLO Sustaining Fellows are recognized as having sustained excellence in their contributions to ASLO and the aquatic sciences.
The deadline for nominating 2023 Fellows is October 28, 2022.
In order to qualify, individuals must be current members of ASLO, have no outstanding ASLO accounts (e.g. page charges) and meet at least 5 of the following 7 criteria:
