ASLO recognizes individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the benefit of the society and its publications, meetings, and other activities. All ASLO members are welcome to nominate another member for recognition as an ASLO Fellow or Sustaining Fellow. You are welcome to apply directly to become an ASLO Fellow or Sustaining Fellow.
ASLO Fellows are recognized as having achieved excellence in their contributions to ASLO and the aquatic sciences.
ASLO Sustaining Fellows are recognized as having sustained excellence in their contributions to ASLO and the aquatic sciences.
In order to qualify, individuals must be current members of ASLO, have no outstanding ASLO accounts (e.g. page charges) and meet at least 5 of the following 7 criteria:
