Registration

We look forward to an outstanding ASLO 2021 Aquatic Sciences Meeting.  While the meeting will be different from the standard in-person format, the registration process is quite similar.

We are creating engagement opportunities that will be enlightening and fun.  Check back for updates of new activities.

Registration Information

Registration fees must be paid in U.S. dollars (USD) and drawn on a U.S. bank. Credit card fees will appear as a charge on your credit card statement to ASLO.

Online registration is preferred and highly recommended. Electronic registrations must include complete credit card information.

The early registration fee discount will be applied at checkout.

All participants and exhibitors must agree to the Code of Conduct and Waiver of Liability when registering.

The full registration fee includes admission to all sessions, exhibits, town hall meetings and workshops, auxiliary meetings (unless by invitation only or otherwise specified), mixers, and the electronic program. Optional events such as special organized activities may not be included.

Fees to attend the meeting should be paid in advance. Registrations are not considered final until a check, money order, purchase order, or charge card information is received. All registrations must include complete credit card information, including number, expiration date, cardholder name and security code on the back of the card. VISA, MasterCard, and American Express are accepted. Organizations can be billed only if a purchase order accompanies the registration either electronically or by mail.

Registration will be confirmed via e-mail once payment  is received.

Substitutions or Cancellations

We understand that occasionally other responsibilities and personal obligations prevent you from attending. If you find that you will not be able to attend the meeting, we encourage you to send a substitute. Substitutions can be made at any time at no additional charge.  The conference presentations will be available during and after the dates of the meeting, so please consider this before canceling.

If you find it necessary to cancel after you have already paid, we can refund your conference fee (less a $70.00 USD processing fee) if we receive notice in writing on or before 19 May 2021. Registrants who cancel on or after 20 May 2021 will not be eligible for any part of a refund. Abstract submission fees are non-refundable. (Please note that refunds only can be issued to the credit card that was used for the initial transaction.)

The conference management office must be made aware of all substitutions or registration transfers in writing; email notification is preferred.

To provide cancellation notice, request a refund, withdraw your presentation, or to advise us of a substitution, please send an email to Jo Davis at customer.service@aslo.org.

How To Register

If you are an ASLO member, choose “I Want to Register” in the I Want To menu. You may be asked to log into your ASLO account. Register for the meeting using the member registration rates.

If you are not a member, choose “I want to Create a Guest Account” in the I Want To menu top-right. Select “Create New Account” at the bottom of the login prompt. Create your account choose "Meetings, Browse Meetings" to register at the non-member rates. Join ASLO to save on registration fees!

Once registered, you will receive a link to the abstract submission system in your confirmation email.
