Poster Presentations
Posters will be on display in the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones
de Galicia on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 09:00 until
21:00. To emphasize the topical directions of the poster presentations,
the poster area will be organized by clusters. Authors have been
notified with an assigned poster presentation and discussion
date and should be available for discussion purposes during their
specified date and time. Poster Sessions I, II, and III will
be held Tuesday, 21 June through Thursday, 23 June 2005, from
10:10 to 12:10. In addition, participants may view posters throughout
the day, as well as during the evening receptions, Tuesday, 21
June through Thursday, 23 June 2005, from 19:30 to 20:30.
Posters will be numbered and all poster presenters were notified
of their poster number in advance of the meeting. If you did not
receive such notification, please contact the conference management
office at business@aslo.org or call 800-929-2756 or 254-399-9635.
Poster space will be 4 ft. by 4 ft. (1.16m by 1.16m) in size. Size
requirements must be strictly adhered to so they fit within the
space assigned to them.
Due to space limitations, it is very important that poster presenters
adhere to the designated set-up and tear-down instructions and
times. Poster Session I (Tuesday) will set-up on Monday, 20 June
2005, from 13:45 to 18:30, in the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones
de Galicia. You will set-up your poster according to your assigned
number on the poster boards. All Tuesday poster presentations will
need to be dismantled on Tuesday evening, 21 June 2005, beginning
at 20:30.
If you are scheduled to present in Poster Session II (Wednesday)
or III (Thursday), set-up will take place each morning from 08:00
to 09:00. All poster presentations scheduled for each day will
need to be dismantled that evening beginning at 20:30. Posters
will be displayed all day for participants to view, but will be
removed in order to accommodate poster presentations scheduled
to take place the next day.
Oral Presentations
Concurrent sessions will take place at Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones
de Galicia and Puerta del Camino Hotel. With the exception of
tutorials, oral presentations will be a total of 15 minutes in
length, including set-up, questions, and discussion. Please plan
to allow at least two minutes for questions and discussion time.
Session chairs have been instructed to strictly adhere to the
schedule so that participants may move quickly among the concurrent
session locations. If a presentation should be cancelled for
any reason, this time will be used for additional discussion
or a stretch break.
Presenters will not be allowed to provide their own laptop computer
and personal laptop computers cannot be plugged into projectors
in oral session rooms.
Further details for uploading presentations will be provided on
the conference web site and sent to participants via email.
