Housing Arrangements

Housing arrangements for the ASLO 2005 Summer Meeting have been made at a variety of hotels and offer a wide range of room rates that will allow you to select the one that best fits your needs. Room rates range from €66 EUR (approximately $82 USD) to €158 EUR (approximately $198 USD) per night at the single room rate. The hotel rate includes accommodation, breakfast, bus services, and VAT. Bus service to and from the conference centre is provided if the conference hotel is not within walking distance and is only available and included from the hotels listed as described.

June is a beautiful time in Santiago de Compostela, which is heightened with tourists visiting this spectacular city, as well as many people experiencing the spirituality of the pilgrimage. Hotel reservations will be available on a limited basis. We strongly suggest you make your hotel reservations immediately and directly through the housing bureau service, mbkarma.

You may make your hotel reservations through mbkarma, the housing service, by completing a Hotel Accommodation Form located in the back of the Call for Papers; by calling 00-34-986-443-171; by faxing 00-34-986-446-051, or sending the completed form with payment by mail to: mbkarma, C/Maria Berdiales, 18 - 1°, Oficina 1, 36203 VIGO-Spain. You can also download the form. Please note reservations will not be confirmed prior to receiving payment. Once payment is received, a confirmation will be sent directly to you. Payment must be made in full and via credit card in Euros. Please note that some hotels may no longer be available. Payment in full is required at time of making reservations.

Hotel Reservation Cancellation Penalty Chart:
Every cancellation, change in booking or name will have an administrative expense of €30 EUR.. After the 1st of March in addition to the €30 EUR of administrative expense there will be a cancellation penalty as follows.

FILLED - Accomodation at Monte do Gozo

A convenient and cheaper accommodation as compared to standard hotels can be found at the “Monte do Gozo,” a holiday resort, provided with single, double, and triple rooms. Monte do Gozo is located at walking distance from the conference centre. In addition, buses connect Monte do Gozo with the conference centre and the City Center every 15-30 minutes. Reservations and cancellations should be made directly via web or by telephone at +34-981-55-89-42. The typical pricing for 2004 ranges from approximately €50 EUR per single room to approximately €60 EUR for a double room. A cancellation policy is applied as detailed on the web page.
