Dear all,

Consider this my holiday greeting to you all -- we all celebrate in  
different ways, but I know we all come together in our appreciation  
of the natural world and all its beauty. I hope we can all focus on  
beauty and peace in the year ahead.

I highly recommend a recent edition of Ernst Haeckel's Kunstformen  
der Natur, originally published in 1904.

Look for the 1998 edition by Prestel-Verlag, not the Dover version.  
Title is Art Forms in Nature: The Prints of Earnst Haeckel by Haeckel  
et al. It is available from Amazon.com. Here is the web address that  
came up when I searched for it. You can get it for around $10 - $15.  
Or, see if your university library has it. If not, suggest they order  
it. :)
