Time-marking sediment traps of the design by R.Y. Anderson (see L&O, 1977, v.22, #3) were deployed in Bear Lake (Utah and Idaho) at 3 locations and 2 depths (epilimnion and hypolimnion) in 1998. Collection tubes were recovered and redeployed in 1999 with final recovery in 2000.
