Anglers observing llamas crossing the Illave River, a tributary of Lake Titicaca. Brown trout were introduced into Lake Titicaca in the 1950s. Although not abundant in the lake, they were abundant in the Rio Illave (1981)which flows into the western (Peruvian) side of the lake.
