Bear Lake sculpin (Cottus extensus), are endemic to Bear Lake, Utah-Idaho (USA), but they have been stocked in other western US lakes. This benthic species feeds primarily on ostracods and aquatic insects. Sculpin larvae migrate up into the water column at night to seek higher temperatures that aid digestion. Photo 1985.
