Floating-leaved and emergent macrophytes in the Temple Garden (Wuxi, China). The large lily with the upturned leaf margins is the giant South American waterlily, Victoria amazonica. The tall plant in the background near the bridge is the water lotus, Nelumbo spp. The flat-leaved plant in the foreground is unidentified. (Photo 2000)
