This specimen was collected from Lake Kinneret (= Sea of Galilee = Lake Tiberias) Israel. Photograph was made using Nomarsky differential interference contrast at 20X.
Ceriodaphnia reticulata are very common in Lake Kinneret, constituting the majority of cladoceran biomass, during winter and spring months.
