Kootenai River (Montana and Idaho)
A beautiful stretch of the Kootenai River below the town of Troy, Montana. The river contains Westslope Cutthroat Trout, Redband Trout, Sturgeon and Burbot. The river originates in Canada, flows into Montana and then Idaho and then returns to British Columbia where it discharges into the Columbia River.
The river is currently being fertilized to increase production of Burbot aand Sturgeon.
