Gravel bar on South Fork of the Snake River, Idaho
The South Fork of the Snake River below Palisades reservoir is beautiful and has plentiful gravel bars that provide excellent fishing for native cutthroat trout, and some introduced rainbow and brown trout. The Idaho Department of Fish and Game has relaxed angling restrictions on the introduced trout in an effort to remove them from the ecosystem.
