Northpoint Canal crossing the wetlands of the Great Salt Lake

The Northpoint Canal takes water from the Jordan River (Utah) and diverts it around Salt Lake City and discharges into Gilbert Bay of the Great Salt Lake. This provides water for irrigation and reduces flooding in the city.
