A small bubbler helps keep a small pond from stratifying, which could lead to the loss of oxygen in the deeper water. The pond is stocked with trout, and an anoxic bottom layer would keep them from entering that layer. The artificial pond is located at the mouth of Green Canyon (Cache Valley, Utah).
