Pejerrey (Basilichthyes bonariensis), ispi (Orestias ispi?), and Orestias mulleri, three of the more common fishes in Lake Titicaca (Peru/Bolivia). The Orestias species are endemic to the lakes in the Peruvian and Bolivian altiplano, and are best studied in Lake Titicaca. The pejerrey was introduced into the Lake Titicaca basin from Argentina.
