A father and son with a nice catch of striped bass (Morone saxatilis)from Lake Powell reservoir. The bass were introduced to prey on threadfin shad. They are very successful at this, and there is a boom-and-bust predator-prey cycle between the two species, with the bass over-exploiting the shad, with a subsequent decline in the bass condition and survival.
