A mother ship (right) and smaller boat drift with a boom that extends into the water to corral floating brine shrimp (Artemia) cysts. The multi-million dollar cyst harvest occurs each year in the Great Salt Lake (USA). The cysts are used by agriculturists who hatch them and feed the juvenile brine shrimp (nauplii) to prawns and fin fish.
