Tranquile waters in a small channel of the Bear Lake National Wildlife Refuge (Dingle Marsh, Rainbow Unit) in southern Idaho (USA). The wetlands connect the Bear River and Bear Lake, and they are used to transport water into the lake during spring runoff.

The Refuge is popular for bird watching and waterfowl hunting.

The dominant vegetation is hardstem bulrush, Schoenoplectus acutus (formerly in the genus Scirpus).
