The Great Salt Lake is a popular tourist destination. Here, participants in the International Society for Salt Lake Research 10th Annual Meeting walk to the lake to look at brine shrimp and the oolitic sand that composes the beach. Bridger Bay is a small portion of the Gilbert Bay (south arm) of the Great Salt Lake.
