Meander Lake, Minnesota, U.S.A., a low conductivity lake in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area of Northeast Minnesota. The Sioux fire of 1971 burned most of the watershed, and the lake was studied for the effects of fire on hydrology and nutrient cycling. Photo from old ASLO slide collection; taken by R.L. Wallace; scanned by K.L. Schulz.
