A swallow-tailed gull (Creagrus furcatus) feeds its chick. These gulls are primarily pelagic, nocturnal feeders on squid and small fish. When not breeding, it is totally pelagic, migrating along the Ecuadorian and Peruvian coasts (Snow, B.K. and D.W. Snow 1968. The Condor 70:252-264).
