ASLO 2013 meeting organizers will host a Teacher Expo. K-12 teachers are invited to attend Limnology and Oceanography 101 mini-lectures, attend scientific poster sessions in the Exhibit Hall, and visit an array of Aquatic Science Education Resource Tables.

Registration is FREE for the Teacher Expo. You must register to obtain a badge for the day. If you would like to be assigned a science mentor for your visit, please indicate this on the registration form.
If you would like to offer a mini-lecture for teachers, please contact bob.chen@umb.edu.
ASLO will offer a mentoring program at the Aquatic Sciences Meeting in New Orleans. Designed for novice meeting attendees, students, or early career scientists, mentees will be matched one-on-one with an experienced scientist who can help mentees navigate the meeting. You may indicate your interest in being a mentor or a mentee when you register for the meeting. If you have any questions, please contact Bob Chen at bob.chen@umb.edu.

Scientists (broader impacts), curriculum developers, and educators are invited to share their limnology and oceanography educational resources. If you would like to present your educational materials at a resource table, ASLO is happy to offer a complimentary table. Please indicate your interest by completing the exhibitor registration form. There is no charge, but you must make arrangements in advance of the meeting.
