Qualifications and Skills
I am a responsible and teamwork oriented person. I have the ability to work with minimum supervision. I have trainer skills, good communication and human relationship effectiveness. Fast learner. I am fluent in English and Spanish. I am a very motivated individual with strong organizational skills, assertive, analytical, problem solver and confidential.
Community work related to environmental awareness (outreach) and protection of natural resources (I have been awarded for it in Puerto Rico). I have complete understanding of GMP’s, OSHA, SARA, and RCRA. I have experience writing preparedness and response plans and other programs to address concerns about chemical safety contingency plans, community plans, and community awareness programs and off site response.
I also have knowledge of environmental state and federal regulations, technical writing, professional writing, knowledge in coordination, management, education, development and implementation of most of the environmental procedures and practices.
The National Registered Environmental Professional, Illinois chapter, certifies me as a Registered Environmental Manager (REM # 11374). This allows me to perform any task concerning environmental programs, management, and audits, and provide expert analysis and interpretation for the legislation, regulation, rules and policies.
I am certified by USEPA Region 5 as an Environmental Justice Trainer.
