Statement of Interest

My academic and professional interests in the aquatic sciences is open water marine biology. My academic and career goals are to get a Masters degree in Marine Biology. My current and past activities related to my interests and goals are volunteering with the Chesapeake Bay Savers. I helped to clean up the Jug Bay Wetlands. I also am a certified PADI SCUBA diver. I was certified at Florida Air Academy in April 2002. I have ocean diving and lake diving experience. I have an updated PADI membership. I am currently a senior at St. Vincent Pallotti High School. I have been accepted to Coastal Carolina University and Hampton University. I plan to attend at Coastal Carolina, my acceptance pending on my financial aid assistance package from the university. I also am searching for a summer job program in the marine sciences to earn while I learn during the summer and help pay for college.
