Limnology and Oceanography

This journal is dedicated to the publication of original papers based on research in any aspect of limnology and oceanography. Current subscribers have access to posted issues of the journal, including those for years in which an electronic subscription was not purchased. Libraries and institutions are required to submit, upon agreement, a signed copy of the site license for each campus subscription. A copy of the site license may be viewed here.

Limnology and Oceanography: Methods

Limnology and Oceanography: Methods provides a central point for new and innovative methods in the aquatic sciences. This journal is available in electronic format only. Subscribers are required to submit a signed site license agreement with IP Range and email address with payment for each campus subscription. A copy of the site license may be viewed here.

Limnology and Oceanography Bulletin

The Limnology and Oceanography Bulletin is published quarterly in electronic format only and contains peer-reviewed articles, Letters to the Bulletin, and ASLO News (information for and about society members).

Limnology and Oceanography: Fluids and Environments

ISSN 2157-3698

This journal publishes interdisciplinary papers that relate fluid dynamics and transport properties to biological, chemical, and geological processes that occur in aquatic/aqueous environments. L&O:F&E is an online-only journal, which is available free to all ASLO Members, but is not included under the ASLO subscription package to subscribers. Institutional Subscription Packages

A single institutional subscription provides electronic access to Limnology and Oceanography, Limnology and Oceanography: Methods, and the Limnology and Oceanography Bulletin, including all posted issues of all three journals. Subscriptions are retroactive and include years in which an subscription was not purchased. Institutions may elect to also receive a print copy of Limnology and Oceanography at an additional charge, as shown below. Institutions are required to submit a signed copy of the site license (PDF format) for each campus subscription.

Limnology and Oceanography: Fluids and Environments is published by Duke University Press and is not included under the ASLO subscription package to subscribers.

Individuals

Individuals may elect to become members without a journal subscription, to receive electronic access to the ASLO journals, or to receive electronic access plus a printed copy of Limnology and Oceanography. Individual subscriptions include access to Limnology and Oceanography, Limnology and Oceanography: Methods, and the Limnology and Oceanography Bulletin. Members also receive access to Limnology and Oceanography: Fluids and Environments. For more information, please refer to the new member application page or to the membership application and renewal forms (note: these links will take you to the ASLO Business Office web server).

When you log into the ASLO website, your subscription status is recognized automatically. If you attempt to access a locked article without logging in first, you will be asked to log in. After logging in, you will be returned to the item you wished to access.

Please note: if you have just added membership with subscription, there will be a slight delay before your access to the electronic version of the journals is authorized. Subscriber records are updated to the website weekly, usually on Friday. If you have just renewed your subscription and it had not lapsed, you will have continuing access to the electronic version of the journal.
