Graduate Fellowship/Assistantship in Aquatic Ecology, Oklahoma State University

Ph.D. Fellowship/Assistantship in Aquatic Ecology/Limnology

A PhD fellowship/assistantship is available in the Department of Zoology at Oklahoma State University. The student will be expected to develop a dissertation project that focuses on the ecology, food web interactions, and/or management of cyanobacteria in eutrophic reservoirs. The student will have access to a new, state of the art analytical laboratory at the Grand River Dam Authority’s Ecosystem and Education Center located on Grand Lake, a large multi-use reservoir in eastern Oklahoma.

The student will be supported for the first two years on a fellowship (~21,500/year plus tuition waiver and benefits) that also includes a yearly research budget. After the first two years, the student will be supported by research or teaching assistantships.
