Graduate Research Assistant (M.S.), Larval Fish Ecology
Salary: $16,800 per year plus benefits and tuition waiver.
Responsibilities: Successful applicant will conduct a comparative study of larval fish assemblage structure in floodplain and off-channel river-reservoir interface (RRI) habitats. Fieldwork will be conducted in the Trinity River and Lake Livingston in southeastern Texas. Applicant will work closely with Texas Parks and Wildlife personnel.
Qualifications: B.S. in fisheries, biology, ecology or related field. Applicant must hold valid U.S. driver’s license and be available to start 16 January 2013. Experience working with larval fishes desirable, but not required.
