PhD Position in Coastal Biogeochemistry, Australia
Southern Cross University has Scholarships for International
Students to undertake PhDs commencing in 2011.
The Centre for Coastal Biogeochemistry has PhD projects in
the areas of coral reef, seagrass, mangrove, permeable sands
and subterranean estuary biogeochemistry (see
www.scu.edu.au/schools/esm/cb for more details about the
Centre’s research programs). We are looking for high
motivated candidates with an Honours or MSc degree in
natural sciences (biogeochemistry, aquatic ecology, microbial
ecology) with a strong interest in biogeochemistry. The
projects will involve field work, possibility in remote parts of
Australia, and laboratory experimental and analytical work.
Excellent English communication skills are essential to publish
the research in international peer reviewed journals.
