Temporary Phycology Instructor
A temporary opening exists in the Department of Biological Sciences at California State University – Long Beach, for a part-time instructor to teach Fall Semester ‘08 of an upper division Phycology course, with the possibility of teaching it again in the Spring Semester ‘09. Present graduate students or researchers who have successfully completed a phycology course or are working in an area of phycology are in encouraged to apply. OPEN UNTIL FILLED.
The course is 2 - one hour lectures and one 3 - hour lab a week. The book previously used was by Lee (3rd ed). Laboratory instructions and supplementary materials are available. Send via post or email a CV, letter of application with a listed reference to:
