Assistant Professor, Marine Phytoplankton Ecologist

The Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Science at Florida State University is seeking applications for a Ph.D.-level marine phytoplankton ecologist to fill a nine-month, tenure-earning appointment at the Assistant Professor level to begin as soon as August 2014.

We are particularly interested in a person whose research combines phytoplankton ecology, primary production, and the role of primary producers in the global cycles of carbon and nutrients.

The position involves research, teaching (at the graduate and undergraduate levels), and service.
