Assistant Professor, Marine Biological Modeling
The Department of Biological Sciences at California State University, Long Beach invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position starting August 19, 2013. We seek broadly trained applicants who address fundamental research questions in marine biology using mathematical modeling of physiological, biophysical or ecological processes. In addition to developing an externally funded research program involving undergraduate and MS students, the successful candidate will teach courses in computer modeling in biology, marine biology, and the undergraduate and graduate core biology curriculum.
