The successful candidate will have experience in: 1) the culture of microorganisms, 2) basic techniques in microbial molecular biology, and 3) data analysis. Other desirable skills include advanced molecular techniques, anaerobic culture, experience in trace metal chemistry and analysis, experience setting up and using databases, and field biogeochemistry. A current valid driver’s license is required, and a US or Canadian passport. The successful candidate must clear a thorough background investigation prior to employment.
