- Program Summary
- This graduate-level introduction to oceanography explores the features and processes that characterize the World Ocean, and ways in which the World Ocean affects ecosystems and human society. Consideration of the tools, methods, and strategies employed by oceanographers in studying the World Ocean are examined. At least two college-level courses in biology, chemistry, earth science, or physics recommended. 3 credits, Lecture, no lab. ABCF grading.
