| DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES AND BACKGROUND | |
I am interested in work dealing with the United States southeastern coast and surrounding areas, including estuaries and coastal plains. Being from South Carolina, I am familiar with our low-country and the organisms found here. I find biogeography particularly interesting, as well as fluvial systems. Conservation of these systems and wildlife is also important to me. Animals have always been a part of my life, and it is essential to preserve coastal habitats to ensure the survival of coastal species. | |
